Hellwalker

This project was created during the Fall 2020 semester by a team of 7 students for Intro to Game Development.

When Simon was just a boy, the gates of the underworld opened up, unleashing hordes of demons across the land. He lost everything to the wrath of the Demon General.

Now, Simon is finally ready to take his revenge, and he's vowed to slay every last demon on his way to destroy the one who took it all from him. Using his prowess with swords, bows, and magic, help Simon complete his quest and fulfill his destiny.

Controls -

A/D - Move left and right

Space - Jump, press again while in air to double jump

LMB - Sword attack, attack while in air to perform a spinning strike

RMB - Aim bow, release to fire

Q - Magic burst, a long cooldown ability that deals massive damage

Esc - Options Menu

Guide - 

• Use your double jump! There are some jumps in the game that cannot be completed without it.
• The spinning strike (LMB while in the air), is more powerful than the normal attack, and is very useful for killing flying enemies.
• Falling platforms will only fall if you stand near the middle of them.
• Spikes will kill you instantly, but they'll do the same for most enemies.
• Dying only brings you back to the start of the level, and you have unlimited lives.
